Are you moving through midlife and noticing changes that feel unfamiliar?

You may be wondering about hormone therapy. Or you may simply be looking for thoughtful, evidence-based guidance on how to feel more like yourself again.

This presentation offers clarity.

In my clinical practice, I meet women navigating these exact changes every week. Some are sorting through information. Others are just beginning to explore what support might look like.

They're asking:

- Is hormone therapy right for me?
- What are the real risks?
- Does timing matter?
- Patch or pill — does it make a difference?
- Do I need progesterone? Testosterone? Testing?
You deserve clear, current answers.

## This Is What I Do Every Day

I'm Dr. Rachel VandenBerg , a naturopathic doctor with over 20 years of clinical experience and a decade of experience prescribing hormone therapy.

I'm also one of you — navigating my own version of perimenopause day by day.

Over the years, both professionally and personally, I've come to see this transition as a pivotal stage in a woman's life. It can feel disruptive. It can also be an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen long-term health.

- I believe that knowledge is power.
- I believe women deserve access to reliable, evidence-based information.
- I believe community matters.

That's why I'm opening this conversation beyond my clinic — to bring clarity and perspective to more women at once.

## What We'll Cover

Who hormone therapy may be appropriate for — and why timing matters

The differences between patches, pills, gels, progesterone, and testosterone

When testing is helpful

Real risks and real benefits, explained clearly

What you can expect if you decide to start

How hormone therapy fits into a broader, long-term health strategy

You'll walk away with both information and a practical way to think about your next steps.

With the right information and support, midlife becomes a season of strength , clarity , and possibility .

In this session, I'll also share the framework I use in practice to help women think about hormone therapy within the bigger picture of long-term health — whether or not hormones become part of their plan.
