Yoga Retreat for

women embracing midlife.

October 25 to 27

Colpoy's Bay, Ontario

Experience

People lying on yoga mats on a wooden deck outdoors, overlooking water; some hold hands with others nearby.

Yoga

At a pace and style that meets all needs and abilities, Lisa offers opportunity for flow and restorative yoga as well as yoga nidra throughout the weekend.  All levels welcome.  No experience needed.

Campfire on rocky shore, flames rising from a ring of stones, nearby dark water.

Relaxation

Fully immersed in nature, you'll want to take a nice deep breath.  We'll have time for hiking, sitting by the lake, embracing a cold plunge, or resting by the fire.  You can relax in any way that appeals to you.

Three women sit close together, smiling and laughing outdoors, arms around each other.

Conversation

The warm and cozy cottage environment invites open conversation.  This weekends theme will be "embracing menopause".  We'll talk about hormones, the challenges, and the beauty that surrounds the midlife transition.

Dr. Rachel VandenBerg, ND

Guest Presenter

Dr. Rachel has been practicing naturopathic medicine for nearly 20 years, so it’s safe to say she knows something about how our bodies and our hormones work.

She's also one of you—experiencing her own version of perimenopause as we speak.

Dr. Rachel sees the menopause transition as a critical time in women's life, when we need support more than ever and have one of the greatest opportunities ever.  Her informal presentations will include information, conversation, and opportunity for connection and community.  Bring your questions or come to listen.  We'll let the conversation flow.
